Dance Tips to Success

Do you want to start a new sport but do some research first? Look no further! I’ve already done the research for you. All you need to do is read.

Dance is mainly moving your body with a rhythm and expressing a feeling. It is also a sequence of steps. You’d want to move your body with the music so it makes sense. Whatever the mood of the music is, is the mood of your movement.

The first suggestion is to learn the right rhythm that fits your style. For example, if you like being energetic and you feel that’s how your body moves best, I suggest hip hop or jazz. If you’re technical, I suggesb
allet.

After you pick the styles you want to do, you want to get used to moving your arms and legs so it looks natural. You’d want to move your arms and legs with the emotion that is put in the dance and you want to be able to tell a story.

Depending on your style of dance, it helps to stretch so it’s easier to do tricks involving flexibility. Doing splits can help. You can even do them while you watch tv if you want.

Another thing to do is to watch other dancers to have a reference. They know what they are doing so it’s easier to pick up on things.

Having good posture is important. It helps to sit up in life outside of dance and when you have better posture, it's less likely that you'll fall.

Lastly, you want to have self confidence, patience, and be comfortable with what your doing. Dancing in your room alone can help with your confidence.

      I  hope this was helpful!
